Cologne – The cable industry is an interesting target market for INTACTON. The interest in measuring length and speed of cables contact less is enormous. This impression got confirmed by speaking with developers and managers at the Cables 2009 held at the Maritim Hotel in Cologne where we had our table top exhibition. The "Cables" is an important conference for development, production and sustainability in the cable industry. COVIDIS contributes here by saving material through the exact length measurement at the cable production. This isn’t just saving our resources it saves money at the same time. And through the contact less measurement method the material will not get damaged. COVIDIS works maintenance free and is able to be used on almost every cable. Precise measurements from standstill up to 50 m/s (3000 m/min) can be performed.
